Some programs out there will cost you $1 to join their starter membership and will automatically charge you after your 7 days trial. NOT in Wealthy Affiliate, you can join wealthy as a free member, and it will cost you NOTHING. You will have 2 websites, access to basic training and some premium only features for the first 7 days, after your 7 days run out, you will still remain your free membership. You can stay as a free member as long as you want, the exciting fact is, you can actually EARN MONEY as a FREE member, but I’ll recommend you to upgrade to premium membership, you won’t want to miss those features, including 1 on 1 coaching, live help, build up to 50 websites, access to all training and MORE. The Step by Step Courses to SUCCESS
If you are new to affiliate marketing and online business, and you know nothing about it, that’s totally fine, Wealthy Affiliate is very newbie friendly. The core training courses give you the step by step guide, from setting up a website to driving traffic, from creating contents to keyword research, you will get all the knowledge you need to know. The first of the main courses is called “Online Entrepreneur Certification”, it will walk you through the steps of creating a successful online business that generates revenue. Guess what, you can have FULL ACCESS as a free member. After you finish level 1, you can go on and finish all 5 levels, but level 2 to level 5 is premium only. The good thing about step by step courses is you won’t be overwhelmed by too much information.
MORE Training
Besides the core training courses which created by co-founders Kyle and Carson, other members including YOU can create their own tutorials and training. Every member can share their tips, you can expect lots of high-quality contents. This is a very informative review. My first attempts at building my own site was to create one for my business, a few years ago. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing, though. I was essentially winging it with whatever information I was able to get from articles and youtube videos. The trouble with that is that much of the info you get is contradictory, since you’re getting it from different people who sometimes have different approaches. Of course, there’s also info on there that’s even outdated. Needless to say, I gave up on that site.

I’m sorry that you gave up the site. I agree with you, sometimes those training and information are not scams, but people can be easily overwhelmed by those information, that’s why I recommend people to join the training that has a clear guideline and the most up to date information.
Wealthy affiliate is not a scam, scams usually trick you and don’t really offer you any real value. Even if you don’t make any money from your website, you have earned an education that is more valuable than money, and courses lead onto other ideas and broadens your horizons. It is also great being in a community that is trying to help each other succeed, you don’t get that any many places in life these days, it is so competitive.

Wow thank you for this review! I tried this out for a few days a couple years back but then i jumped into the four percent group for a while and didnt see a penny back but burned through alot of cash through ads so i gave up on online marketing. This gave me that spark back!

I have read a few of your reviews and I have researched multiple platforms for affiliate marketing. My realization with most of them is that your primary commission comes from selling the program, not necessarily a pyramid but damn close. I want to be involved with a program that not only promotes products/services that are of value in themselves, but also a place where I can start from scratch with a supporting community, this seems to be it.

First, thanks for your comment. To be perfectly honest with you, most of my online income isn’t from the commission of this program. Although I do have some referrals under me that I can get a steady cash flow every month passively, the amount is only a fraction of my online income. What this program can teach us is far more than promoting itself. My main sources of income are eCommerce and client works, but guess what, 99% of the knowledge about building websites, SEO, and some basic internet marketing tips are all from this program (Wealthy Affiliate). That’s why I’m still a paying member of this program, not because I want to make affiliate commissions, but because of the value and knowledge inside the program.
